The Ceramide Soothing & Protective Day Cream SPF 20 combines revolutionary ingredients such as Rose, Ceramide and Lecithin.
The science
Rose works to buff away dead skin cells and impurities to reveal soft, fresh and youthful skin. Its light-reflective properties help illuminate the delicate skin, softening flaws and boosting radiance.
Ceramide aims to form a protective layer that helps plump skin and hold moisture, acting as a barrier against bacteria and environmental pollutants.
With its softening, soothing and moisturising properties, Lecithin helps hydrate, replenish and repair the skin making it an excellent skincare addition for mature, dry and overworked skin.

Getting the most from your Ceramide Soothing & Protective Day Cream SPF 20:
1 The jaw - Apply the moisturiser, working from the chin towards the earlobes.
2 The cheeks - Smooth from nose to temples
3 The forehead - Massage, making smoothing movements from the centre of the face outwards
4 The final touch - Massage, making circular movements from eyebrows to nose.
Combine with a eye serum or cream for a complete routine.
#AvantTips: When applying your moisturiser, try to adopt a ‘dab and tap’ rhythm. Patting your face softly will stimulate the circulation, wake up the complexion and can work to flush out that any toxins that have built up in your lymph nodes.
Store in a cool and dry place.
Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Do not ingest.

I’ve been indulging in the Ceramides Soothing & Protective Day Cream from @avantskincare for a good few weeks now.
Pros: definitely one for dry skin, this soft cream melts on contact with your face, into a rich oil texture, and my god it smells FABULOUS. My skin has been well-nourished, with not a dry patch or break out in sight. It contains SPF, just enough to get you started, but I would always top up with a high protection sunscreen to get you through the day. The brand focuses on mixing natural ingredients with scientific techniques for the best of both worlds - and the result is nutrient dense products. It constrains rose and ceramides to soften and protect, avocado to nourish, as well as antioxidants and lactic acidosis to gently exfoliate. Cruelty- free, and recyclable glass.
Cons: it takes a little while for my skin to absorb this fully - this is not a product for people who don’t have dry skin. It’s got a fairly pricey price point, and does contain fragrance (but as mentioned that fragrance is LUSH). As it is in a jar, I would have liked this to come with a spatula for hygienic use (but I have kept some from other moisturizers so not a big deal for me). This is a luxe moisturizer kindly gifted to me, and my dry skin face has been spoiled living the high life.
