Avant Quintessence has distinctive top notes of elemi infused with mandarin, which blends with the zestiness of orange blossom to bring a vibrant freshness.
At the heart, the uplifting scent is reminiscent of warm moonlit walks and Mediterranean nights when Jasmine becomes its most potent. This intoxicating and sophisticated scent begins with the heady florals of Jasmine with an unexpected twist of refreshingly sweet Orris and Plum.
As for the base notes, earthy and woody Patchouly and Vanilla, Praline, White Musk create the perfect foundation for this sultry scent, defining and re-affirming a ‘fragrance-to-share’ suitable for unisex use.

Great perfume for Spring or Summer
I bought a bottle of this last year and kept it on show in the bathroom. I noticed that it seemed to be going down very quickly and then I realized that my 19 year old son would use it every morning before going to college. As its unisex I decided to buy him his own bottle. It s a lovely fragrance that lasts all day and has a clean and fresh fragrance that doesn´t offend anyone. Definately a keeper.

Wonderful fragrance !
A fragrance that from the first spray, gives you the impression of wearing a refined and expensive perfume, seems very luxurious to my nose.
A soft musky and slightly woody amber, warm and comforting ...
It is the perfect balance between a masculine and feminine scent.
The base notes especially appealed to me in this fragrance !

I was doubting in the beginning
I was doubting in the beginning, as I did not believe much in having a fragrance to share with my partner, but I must say I wear it, she wears it and we love it. :)

The best way to describe this is as sophisticated and "grown up"
It's a rich with lots of depth and not a light forgettable blend.
The opening is sweet with a slight zing of mandarin and plum.
Then a velvety creamy vanilla comes through wrapped in warm jasmine. The orange blossoms adds whiffs of freshness along with refreshing sweetness of plum.
The jasmine is beautifully grounded with plum and vanilla, it's not heady or strong.
The dry down of Quintessence is absolutely divine!
It's all about the gorgeous rich earthy base of Patchouli and white Musk.
With hints of amber and vanilla peaking through, the musk really harmonizes everything for me. There's a slight smokiness to it.
Quintessence is vibrant, sultry and elegant. Classic yet modern.
The notes are so masterfully blended that everything works perfectly together to create a rich layered perfume.
It's a true unisex composition in my opinion.
The sillage and projection is excellent and the longivitiy is amazing. I could smell it on my wrist the next day even after taking a shower in the night.
