join the trend: facial yoga exercises

Facial yoga is based on a set of exercises that work to tone facial muscles. Fundamentally, the jaws, forehead and eyebrows are areas where the muscles tense and that ends up being reflected in the appearance of the dreaded wrinkles.

What is facial yoga?

And most importantly, is facial yoga good for your skin?

There is a way to fight the signs of tiredness in your face and to help you prevent wrinkles (on which stress is very much to blame). Facial yoga is a technique that focuses on toning your face, and practising it for 15 minutes a day will help you prevent wrinkles and will bring you many other benefits that you still don't know. Keep reading to discover them!

“Because facial aging is due in part to muscle loss, if you can commit to a routine, exercise may strengthen those muscles, making the entire face look more firm and youthful,” explains Beauty Lab Senior Chemist Sabina Wizemann.

Here are the top facial yoga exercises:

Exercise 1

In this exercise, the main benefit will be the muscular tone of your forehead and to carry it out you must place your fingers on your forehead and raise your eyebrows, again and again, making sure you are not causing wrinkles yourself on your forehead. Repeat ten times.

Exercise 2

This exercise helps prevent the wrinkles around the eyes and is carried out by moving your eyeballs from right to left, then do it again, but in the opposite direction, then take them from top to bottom and from bottom to top. Make sure that only your eyes move, the rest of your face should remain still. Repeat 5 times in each direction.

Exercise 3

With this exercise, you will maintain the tone of the cheekbones and cheeks. Put your lips inside the mouth, place your fingers at the corners of the lips and press them lightly and then bring them to the ends and return to the starting position. Repeat 10 times.

Exercise 4

The main benefit of this exercise is to eliminate the double chin and increase the muscle tone on the neck. The first thing you should do is to take out your tongue and point it up, raise your head and turn it a little to the right, lift your chin and keep this position for 10 seconds. Return to the starting position and repeat in the other direction repeating the exercise 5 times in each direction.

Exercise 5

Get rid of the wrinkles around the mouth. Open your mouth, cover your teeth with your lips and exert pressure. Hold the position for 10 seconds. Repeat 15 times.

As you might have noticed, these exercises are very simple and can be done at home. It is recommended that facial yoga be performed during the daily aesthetic routine of the morning. It simply means adding an additional two minutes after placing the moisturiser. At this time, it is recommended to perform the exercises along with relaxation breaths to get the best result.

What are the benefits of facial yoga?

It activates blood circulation and oxygenates the skin.

Say goodbye to sagging skin.

Its practice re-densifies the skin and brings muscular volume to the face.

It acts on the expression lines and blurs them, delaying the appearance of wrinkles.

The practice of facial yoga revives the look, combats the eyelid lift and reduces dark circles. The tension that accumulates in the face is incredible; in the eyebrows, forehead, eyes, jaw and neck, which can lead to pain in the mandibular tempo joint and even tension headaches. Facial Yoga helps you free it.

It will give you more expressiveness and greater confidence in yourself. When we look better, we also feel better.

Once you have learned it, you can practice it yourself, and it will be super economical and effective!
