How to get rid of dry skin

One of the easiest ways to get glowing, healthy-looking skin is to make sure your skin is effectively moisturized. But doing so can sometimes be a little complicated. That’s why we have created a list of 4 of our favourite ingredients to help keep your skin hydrated.

1. Hyaluronic Acid

One of the most popular ingredients in the skincare industry over the past few years: hyaluronic acid. It is present in so many skincare products and because it’s present in our body naturally - it is very unlikely to cause irritation, even for people with sensitive skin.

Our Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti-oxidising DUO Moisturiser is an Age Nutri-Revive moisturiser formulated with our signature Hyaluronic Acid aimed at restoring your skin's natural glow day and night.

“I haven’t been using this for very long, but already my skin is looking smoother and has that healthy-looking glow that friends are starting to notice. I have been getting lots of compliments and people asking if I’ve been away on holiday!! ( as if ... !! )” - Ris D

2.Ceramides

Ceramides help create a barrier to prevent permeability. This locks moisture into your skin, which helps prevent dryness and irritation. Ceramides are an important part of repairing and restoring your skin's natural protective barrier. Skin conditions such as eczema can be perpetually dry, which is likely caused by a weak skin barrier.

With a featherweight texture, this non-greasy Day moisturiser, formulated with SPF 20, works to leave no trace, absorb in seconds to quench skin’s thirst and create an impenetrable veil which seals moisture and nutrients in, aiming to deflect harmful effects of pollutants and prevent loss of firmness. Ceramide aims to form a protective layer that helps plump skin and hold moisture, acting as a barrier against bacteria and environmental pollutants.

3. Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is used by many, as it supports multiple skin conditions. One of it’s main benefits is that it is a  humectant ingredient, which means it works to seal your skin with a protective barrier to keep it from losing its moisture.

Our Power E Jojoba Facial Drop Treatment works to make skin more resilient and intensely hydrated. Jojoba Oil helps in creating a powerful barrier against moisture loss, allergens and dust pollution whilst working to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

4. Glycolic

Glycolic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that helps to shed dead skin cells and reveal newer, brighter layers of skin. As it is an exfoliant, it is best to start small if you have sensitive skin or are prone to irritation.

Our Intensive Redensifying Glycolic Acid Day Moisturiser aims to offer a complete response to signs of skin slacking.
